Koray has 10 years of Social-Environmental Compliance Audit experience in the textile sector.
He has previously worked with two suppliers: Akademi Tekstil for 4 years and Cross Jeanswear for 2 years. He is well-versed in the social-environmental compliance of most textile brands, the food industry, and shipyards. He has completed over 2,000 audits and visited over 1,000 facilities during his auditing career.
He is well-versed in all of the aforementioned processes on a local level. Previously, Koray worked with various brands (such as H&M, Inditex, Primark, River Island, New Look, C&A, Wall Mart, Next, Lindex, McDonalds, Costco, Maersk, Pimkie, Mango, Varner, Arcadia, Williams Sonoma, Under Armour, JC Penny, Egmont, Starbucks, Amazon, KiK, Nordstorm, Hanes) to conduct audits or to share and prepare sub-contractors with regard to social and environmental demands as required.
Koray has an SA8000 Basic & Advanced Auditor Certificate. He knows about hazardous substance control and has a ZDHC Chemical Management Course Certificate. Koray has experience in the Higg Modules, including Higg FEM and SLCP (FSLM). He is an Higg FEM, SLCP verifier and a BSCI lead auditor.
